Splish Splash - annual event (at least once a Summer) to go to the water park in Riverhead with our kids. We receive a reduced rate as a group. Friends and their children are welcome to join us. Contact our chairmom at campingsplishsplash@suffolktwins.org.

Mom's Discussion Night - scheduled multiple times throughout the year. Hosted by a member (usually a new MOM) and open to all. This is the time & place to get advice and have lots of questions answered by someone who has been there and done that!

 

Clothing & Equipment Sale - Members buy and/or sell outgrown clothes and toys. It is garage type sale done twice a year at our October & April General Meetings.


Adult Craft Night - scheduled during the year by a member who is crafty. Craft skills not required - lots of directions are given.

Camping - planned every Summer. Usually held the first or second weekend of August at Cedar Pointe in the Hamptons. The club reserves a group site and it's lots of togetherness for all families and you learn SO much from and about fellow campers. Tents, pop-ups, and trailers welcome. Holiday Dinner - held on the second Tuesday of December in lieu of our regular meetings at the Rec Center. The restaurant is voted on by the membership.

 

Installation Dinner - held on the second Tuesday of June in lieu of our regular meetings at the Rec Center. The restaurant is voted on by the membership.

Children Parties - currently held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Hauppauge. Usually, a Halloween party in October/early November, a Holiday party in November/December and a Spring party around March/April holidays. Open to all members; currently costing $5/family.

Family Picnics - held at the end of August into September. Hosted by a member or at a State/County park. Cost is $5-10/family and includes burgers, dogs and beverages. Salads and desserts provided by members.

Father's Night - a way to say thanks for all the Dads do. In the past it has been a "Cruise to Nowhere" on the Great South Bay, Bowling, or BBQ hosted by a member. Suggestions welcome.
