Happy Holidays MOTC,
I really hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
My theme this year was a Southern BBQ. Did not turn
out exactly as I would have planned but it was a lot
of fun and always makes for a great conversation. A
family tradition, that we have, is to pass around a
stuffed candy corn with the family name, everyone at
the table says what they are thankful for. With
nothing being rehearsed you never know what a 3, 5,
or 7 year old might say and every year it really
gets the family laughing and crying kids are
amazing.(try it)
A special thank you to Maureen and Karen for making
the Nov. Meeting interesting, Please anyone feel
free to lend ideas, talents, suggestions, anything
that you think could help the club. We are always
open for help and new people to step forward. That
brings me to a very special thank you, to our
Treasurer, Patty Yonkers whom lead us for over 4
years and now is stepping down. Best to her and
thank you for your service to the club, it did not
go unnoticed, thank you and I will miss you please
don't be stranger.
I really appreciate Natalie taking the time to help
with our Dinner. I hope everyone has a great night
out and for some it might be a first meal that you
can eat hot and not have to cut for anyone but
yourself, enjoy!!! Please make sure you contact me
if you are interested in the Children's Holiday
Party, we only have about 40 spots and it is first
come first serve. We also will be having our
Board/Discussion night (ornament exchange). Please
come and bring an ornament and a lot a laughs, we
shouldn't be to late.
As always I am sure that I forgot to mention or
thank someone please forgive I know it is not an
excuse but I really do share my brain with 4 kids
and a husband. I know you can all relate, Have a
great Holiday Season and don't forget to bring a
food item to the dinner for our local food pantry, I
will make another drop off they were very thankful.
And to all a good night,
Robin
